The Opportunity:
Rhinehart Oil is owned and operated by Parkland Corporation. Parkland is a leading international fuel supplier, convenience store operator, and community enabler, serving diverse customers across 26 countries.
Rhinehart is hiring for a Transportation Manager to coordinate and supervise the overall operations, activities, and drivers within direct area.
Responsibilities:
- Employee must demonstrate safe work and risk management practices. Communicate and enforce all safety and security issues. Report and process all employee and/or customer incidents or unsafe acts in accordance with Parkland USA’s policy and procedure.
- Maintains a viable relationship with truck drivers and customers to ensure needs are met at all times.
- Responsible for developing a culture of safety among all direct reports by serving as a role model of professionalism, appearance, confidentiality, courtesy, conduct, honesty, fairness, personal integrity, and respect for the fundamental rights, dignity and privacy of others
- Develops and assists in the evaluation of driver routes; performing and updates scheduling, maps outmost efficient and timely routes.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A Driver's License - Preferred but not required.
- Proficient knowledge of DOT Rules and Regulations
- Solid judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Safety first mindset
- Demonstrated analytical ability and attention to detail
