Transportation Sales Manager - Gpac

As Sales Manager you will lead the sales team to continued success, as well as provide leadership, development, and training to new recruits that join the sales team. Being team-centric, yet individually driven will be essential to success. If you are a great salesperson who has seen much success in your career you will want to pass on that knowledge!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Drive revenue through coaching and developing new and existing sales reps
• Interviewing and training entry-level sales reps
• Assisting sales reps with account strategies to increase revenue
• Achieve satisfactory net revenue results and market share in relation to preset standards and industry trends 
• Hold the team accountable for daily activity and results
• Ensuring employees maintain the highest level of integrity
• Coordinating the allocation of support staff to accounts with high volumes of business
• Monitoring sales reports
• Working with the Training department to help maintain and continuously enhance sales training programs

Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years prior experience working for a non-asset freight brokerage in a sales capacity preferred
• At least 3-5 years of sales management experience, preferably leading a team of 5+
• Demonstrated ability to coach, lead, and motivate others
• Willingness to go above and beyond for our customers
• Experience working with vans, flatbeds, containers, warehousing, LTL, heavy haul, and specialized services. 
• Strong negotiation skills – persuasiveness, aggressiveness, confidence
• Self-driven with a desire to succeed
• Ability to think creatively to find solutions

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain, transportation and logistics or similar field is a plus

• Salary:  $70.000.00 to $100,000.00 base plus commissions
