Position Responsibilities:
+ A Transportation Specialist supports daily transportation operations including planning, scheduling manpower , equipment and all clerical duties
+ As a Transportation Specialist, you will oversee driver activities including routing, check-ins, and the monitoring, compliance, and performance of driver hours of service
+ You will utilize software programs for route planning and conducting audit s
+ You may assist with dispatching routes and professionally interact with customers to resolve any concerns
+ You will assist with Bun Backhauls
+ Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
+ High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with 0 to 1 plus years of related experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s Degree
