Job Description
KSI Auto parts is seeking a Transportation Supervisor that will be responsible for final mile delivery to its
customer base. The role will require management efforts to ensure on-time execution, fleet maintenance and communications with driving team and other departments as needed
- Lead a team of 12 drivers through any challenges that occur on shift.
- Supervise all aspects of the KSI fleet, including driver, fleet and compliance management.
- Liaison with operations team to ensure fleet meets operations KPIsMaintains strict compliance with DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations
- Verify and maintain HOS and DVIR program for the KSI fleet.
- Communicates with management on service or performance issues.
- Responsible for timecards, vacation approvals, and conducting performance reviews.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience in transportation.
- Excellent verbal, written, and auditory communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to plan and organize workload; flexibility to handle pressure and work with interruptions and meet deadlines
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others.
- Ability to remain professional and courteous in challenging situations.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Additional information:
Compensation:
- Salary rate ranging from $62,000 - $ 67,000, based on experience
Schedule & Hours:
- Monday- Friday, 5AM Start Time , 8-10 hour days
