RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cath Lab Techs work under the supervision of the physician, operating X-ray equipment, performing as a surgical scrub assistant, and preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients. Cath Lab Tech job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  

• Prepare patients for procedures, review medical history, position patients, and cleaning/shaving/numbing the testing sites as appropriate 
• Monitor patient pre- and post-procedure, reporting any abnormal findings in patient\'s condition 
• Cath Lab techs assist with equipment, supplies, and lab area set up and room turnovers
