Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technician
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to join our healthcare team on a temporary assignment. In this role, you will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures across various healthcare facilities, ensuring exceptional patient care and seamless team collaboration. This position offers a unique opportunity to travel while making a significant impact in cardiovascular healthcare.
The ideal candidate is highly technical, detail-oriented, and able to adapt quickly to new environments. You’ll work closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to prepare and maintain the cath lab, operate specialized equipment, and monitor patients during procedures. Your role will be vital in ensuring patient safety, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, setup, and maintenance of the cardiac cath lab at various healthcare locations.
Operate and troubleshoot specialized cardiovascular equipment.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and conditions during procedures.
Collaborate with cardiologists and assist during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for patient and team protection.
Educate patients about the procedure and obtain necessary consents.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation.
Sterilize and maintain cath lab instruments and equipment.
Assist in patient recovery post-procedure.
Participate in on-call duties as needed.
Adapt quickly to new teams and environments to deliver high-quality patient care.
Stay current with advancements in cardiovascular technology and techniques.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering and maintaining supplies.
Participate in emergency interventions and ensure equipment readiness.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives across various facilities.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in cardiovascular technology and cath lab operations.
