- Patient Population: Lab includes congenital patients across all ages from neonates to adults; adult experience is required. - Skills Needed: Proficiency in PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention), Impella, IABP (Intra-aortic Balloon Pump), Interventional Cardiology, and management of Heart Failure patients. - Experience with Temp Pacers and structural procedures such as Watchman preferred. -The Cath Lab Tech, under the direction the of the director charge person, monitors procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and works as a scrub assistant. -REQUIREMENTS: - Certification Required: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). - Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiovascular Technology or Cath Lab - Proof of Florida state license if ARRT certified. - MUST have exp with IABP, Intervention, Heart Failure. - Peripheral experience preferred. - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. - Mandatory influenza vaccination: exemptions only with a doctors note for vaccine reaction (allergy to eggs not accepted)
