Pioneer Healthcare Services has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA in Salinas, CA for a 13-week contract with the possibility to extend.�The Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA will possess a combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities that enable them to promote and provide optimal quality care and movement within spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation.�This can be a travel or a local assignment.�� Experienced and new grad Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA are encouraged to apply.� Responsibilities of a Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA: * Implements and executes an established patient treatment plan under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist * Helps occupational therapy clients by providing rehabilitative services to persons with mental, physical, emotional, or developmental impairments * Provides timely written documentation per facility and department requirements * Provides services under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist * Follows treatment plan developed in collaboration with physical therapists and speech-language pathologists * Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt * 13-week assignment * Submit all billing logs and necessary information on a timely basis * New grads and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply - We will support you through this transition Pioneer Healthcare Services is a San Diego-based staffing and travel recruitment firm that specializes in finding exceptional nursing and therapy positions for its clients across the US.
