Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a SPECIALTY Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA in San Francisco, CA for a 13 - week assignment with the opportunity to extend. The ideal Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA will have a minimum of 1 year experience. Experienced and new grad Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants COTAs are encouraged to apply. This can be a travel or a local assignment for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA. Responsibilities of a SPECIALTY Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA: * Implements and executes an established patient treatment plan under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist * Communicates with patients, families, referring physicians, and other members of the team * Provides timely written documentation per facility and department requirements * Develops and enhances clinical and professional skills through knowledge and professional association * Supports and participates in department operations and development * Reports any changes in patient status or needs to supervising therapist on a timely basis * 35 hours guaranteed * 13 week assignment * Submit all billing logs and necessary information on a timely basis * New grads and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply - We will support you through this transition Pioneer Healthcare Services is a San Diego-based staffing and travel recruitment firm that specializes in finding exceptional nursing and therapy positions for its clients across the US.
