Job DetailsTravel nursing position for a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)/ORT in York, Pennsylvania.Travel employment type.Starting at the beginning of December.Day shifts with 4x10-hour shifts.Role: Certified Surgical Technologist is a member of the Surgical Team working with medical professionals to provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery.Responsible for proper preparation of room supplies and operative procedures.Essential Functions include aseptic technique, specimen handling, instrument counts, and assisting surgical team.
Job Requirements2 years experience required.Experience in multiple specialties such as Orthopedics, ROBOTICS, ENT, Gyn, Vascular, Thoracic, & General.Level 1 trauma experience.Willingness to care for Covid patients.Able to float as needed.
Schedule InformationOn-call requirements: About 4-6 calls within a 6-week schedule with 30-min response required.Weekend requirements: About 4-6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule, potential for various shift hours.Holiday coverage as per department needs.
Unit Specific InformationUnit: Surgical Suite.Active involvement in unit activities, meetings, and in-services is expected.
