ID: 51588320 Shift: 4 x 10’s Monday through Thursday 8p-6a; Subject to change Description: DESCRIPTION: This position provides specialized diagnostic and therapeutic medical services on an inpatient and outpatient basis in the areas of Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, General and Orthopedic Surgery, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Urology, Optometry/Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, Ear/Nose/Throat (ENT). The purpose of this position is to serve as the Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and is responsible for the technical operation of Computerized Axial Tomography equipment and the processing of radiographic film. FINGERPRINTING: must be submitted and cleared prior to start. ** REQUIRED ** EXPERIENCE: 3 YEARS EQUIPMENT: GE scanners; we have an Optima and a Revolution in CT. Our x-ray equipment is also GE. Must have expertise to operate teleradiology and fax equipment. EDUCATION: Must have successfully completed radiology training from an AMA approved school of Radiology LICENSE: Must have and maintain a current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. Must possess a current valid Arizona State License in Radiology (R) Must possess a current ARRT Certification in Radiology, with advanced qualifications in CT Scan (RT)(CT) ABOUT HOSPITAL: Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation, a JCAHO accredited health center, provides services to a 4,400 square mile area and serves as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. The hospital was constructed in 1975 with a bed capacity of 73. Services provided to the community include comprehensive inpatient/outpatient emergency services, dental and ophthalmology services, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery and urological procedures. Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation is located in Northwestern Arizona on the land known as the Colorado Plateau. The nursing staff includes registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, community health nurses, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, CRNA, and community health medics.
