**Job Title:** Radiologic Technologist (CT and Diagnostic Radiology)

**License:** State-specific Radiologic Technologist License
**Certifications:** Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) preferred
**Must-Have:** Competency in CT and Digital X-ray modalities
**Job Description:**
- Determine appropriate radiographic techniques based on anatomy and patient's condition.
- Positively engage with and guide patients using immobilization and support devices for optimal film quality.
- Secure patient history relevant to prescribed tests and document accurately for Radiologist review.
- Display competent patient positioning and image critique for all exams.
- Address and solve problems related to patients' physical limitations during positioning.
- Ensure adherence to scanning protocols as prescribed by the Radiologist.
- Conduct image reviews to decide on the necessity of additional views to complete exams.
- Select and adjust technical factors governing the imaging process.
- Identify and resolve film artifacts, minimizing repeat work.
- Communicate normal and abnormal anatomy on scans efficiently to the Radiologist.
- Evaluate CT orders for appropriateness using ACR Appropriateness Criteria.
- Operate imaging equipment proficiently and modify technical factors as required.
- Perform daily equipment start-up, shut-down, and inspection processes.
- Rectify and report equipment malfunctions, coordinating repairs when necessary.
- Maintain appropriate care and handling of all equipment.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety procedures and document patient care according to departmental standards.
