Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a skilled Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week contract in Claremont, NH. Please note that applicants must live over 50 miles away from Claremont, NH to be considered for this position.
Job Description:
- Perform CT scans on patients as per physician orders, ensuring accuracy and quality of imaging.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to interpret imaging results.
- Prepare and position patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
- Maintain detailed patient records, including imaging data and patient interactions.
- Follow all regulatory requirements and standards for radiation safety and patient care.
- Provide patient education on procedures and address any concerns they may have.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
- Valid state licensure in Radiologic Technology.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Previous travel experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
