Data Collection : Unit Information : Need CT Tech for Friday, Sat. & Sun. nights, 7p-7a Location: Woman’s Hospital of Texas, Radiology Dept. Address: 7600 Fannin, Houston, Texas 77054 Floor: 1st Building: Main hospital General Information Tell us about the unit (s) : Radiology Number of Beds – Small Radiology dept. Number of Staff – One CT Tech per shift, only 1 CT scanner (nature of patients do not require a lot of CTs) Type of staff : Day Shift – ( example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) One CT Tech Night Shift – One CT Tech Patient Ratios – One CT Tech per shift Type of equipment – GE Lightspeed (16 slice) EMR - Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. CT experience including adults and pedi (works shift alone so must have experience) Can start IV Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Basic X-ray skills to help the Rad Tech if volume warrants because CT volume is very low List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Abdomen and Pelvis, Head, Chest for PE (no cardiac) Volume will be extremely low (only ED and IP) Dress Code : Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color - the dept. wears black pants and pink tops but we would be ok with clean, professional scrubs Not blue scrubs because that color is reserved for Nursing Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines . Must have good attendance record since we only have one Tech per shift!! Awards/Recognition: Feel free to include items such as links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards, reigning annual chili cook-off winners, etc. Any additional information that would entice a wor ker to select your unit for their assignment: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc. * Remember it is a very competitive market any information you can provide will help attract talent . This would be a very easy shift to work due to the low volume of CT patients.
