Travel CT Technologist (Rochester, NY)

Compensation:

• Total weekly compensation: $3,116.00

Duties:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CT equipment.
• Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Administer contrast media as required, monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
• Review and analyze images, ensuring they meet the required diagnostic standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in the electronic health records system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to interpret and communicate scan results.
• Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary exposure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with CT equipment.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
• Proficiency in performing a wide range of CT scans.
• Experience with advanced imaging techniques and contrast administration.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately position patients and identify scan abnormalities.
• Familiarity with medical office procedures and electronic health records systems.

Requirements:

• ARRT Certification required.
• NYS DOH CT Tech Licensure required prior to the start date. (Out-of-state CT Tech License is acceptable if the candidate is aware they must apply and receive the NYS license prior to the start date.)
• Flexibility to accommodate agency scheduling changes up to 3 times within the contract period.
• Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the location.
