Symetria Recovery is the #1 outpatient rehab in Illinois and Texas. Symetria Recovery provides comprehensive substance abuse treatment with a focus on Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) in a welcoming outpatient setting. Unlimited clinical services are available to our patients under our bundled-service delivery model. Key services delivered through our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) licensure include MAT, medically monitored psychiatric care, individual therapy, group therapy (IOP), 6-day-per-week nursing care, and ongoing aftercare. Most of our patients being provided medication receive Buprenorphine products, but they can also receive Methadone, and any other FDA-approved medication for addiction.
What You Will Do:
To provide regional front office support through traveling to all regional clinics. To provide regional training support for new hire receptionists through traveling to clinics with new hire receptionists. To provide administrative services, ensure accurate record keeping and billing, and maximize patient satisfaction. To provide a supportive, compassionate and comprehensive patient satisfaction experience through completing administrative tasks and ensuring accurate record keeping and billing. Maintain clinic facilities. Coordinate overall clinic workflows related to patient care, support Program Director in maintain general operational clinic processes.
- Provide regional front office support to cover all Chicago-metro clinics when team members are out of office: Naperville, Vernon Hills, Joliet, Palos Heights, Lakeview, and Des Plaines – traveling to provide coverage as needed.
- Provide training support to front office receptionist new hires
- Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone and answering and referring inquires.
- Optimizes patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
- Keep patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival, reviewing service delivery as compared to schedule and reminding provider of service delays.
- Comforts patients by anticipating their anxieties, answering patient's questions, and maintaining the reception area.
- Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
- Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information on every patient, every visit.
- Maintain the psychiatry census for scheduling upcoming appointments and referring questions or medication refill inquiries to the appropriate provider.
- Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording, and collecting patient charges, controlling credit extended to patients, filing, collecting and expediting third party claims.
- Facilitate communication between admissions team and clinic through management of admissions chat
- Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level. Anticipates needed supplies, places, and expedites orders for supplies and verifies receipt of supplies and scheduled service.
- Completes various census reports and assists with urine screens.
- Helps patients in distress by following office policies.
- Protects patient's rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
- Any and all duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite/Windows Operating System
- General knowledge of computer systems.
- Learn and efficiently operate Electronic Medical Record Platform (KIPU)
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Medical office experience preferred
