Connected Health Care is thrilled to partner with a premier healthcare facility in Petoskey, MI, to find a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse for a travel position. This is an excellent opportunity for ICU nurses seeking a dynamic and rewarding career with day shift availability.

Job Description:

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Monitor patient’s vital signs, administer medications, and manage life-support equipment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Perform diagnostic tests, analyze results, and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on conditions and treatments.
• Document patient care services by charting in patient records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• EKG comfortability. 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ICU nurse.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of critical care principles, practices, and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
