Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team in Fairfield, CA. As an integral part of our Interventional Radiology department, you will be responsible for assisting physicians during minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong technical expertise, and a commitment to patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment (e.g., fluoroscopy, ultrasound) to capture images during procedures.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures, including catheter insertions, angioplasties, and biopsies.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their well-being and comfort.
• Evaluate images for quality and ensure accurate documentation of procedures in patient records.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography.
• Certification in Interventional Radiography (VI) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
