**Job Title:** Registered Radiologic Technologist

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Night - 9x4 - 5 PM to 2 AM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 per week
**Experience:** Previous experience in Radiologic Technology in a procedural setting preferred
**License:** IEMA Radiography License Illinois, Radiography (R)(ARRT)
**Certifications:** BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association)
**Must-Have:** Registered Radiologic Technologist experience, ability to work with a sterile field, and capacity to communicate effectively
**Job Description:**
- Provide care for patients in the Heart & Vascular Institute requiring invasive cardiology or radiology procedures.
- Assist physicians during procedures and contribute to the team by performing technical tasks.
- Administer contrast material as requested by the physician and manage any hypersensitivity or allergic reactions.
- Ensure correct patient and chart identification along with accurate documentation of all procedures.
- Inform the procedural nurse of the correct doses of intra-procedural medications, radiation, and sponge/sharp counts.
- Assess patients for allergies and administer or withhold treatments appropriately.
- Handle inventory and supplies management.
- Perform peripheral vascular work, venous central lines, tube changes, and embolization work.
- Engage in venous thrombectomy and dialysis work with AV fistulas, tunneled dialysis catheters, and peritoneal dialysis catheters.
- Conduct neuro work including cerebral arterial/venous procedures and kyphoplasty as applicable.
- Maintain a sterile field during procedures and pull necessary supplies efficiently.
- Educate and support new staff as required.

The role includes on-call duties and variable shifts tailored to department needs
Experience in interventional neurology is preferred.
