4x10s Unit Information: IR – SPECIAL PROCEDURES (727) Facility: HCA FLORIDA KENDALL HOSPITAL Address: 11750 Bird Road, Miami, FL 33175 Floor: 1 st Building: Main Cost Center: 727 General Information Tell us about the unit(s): · Number of Labs: 5 · Number of Staff: 1-2 RNs + 1-2 Techs per case, depending on complexity · Patient Ratios - 1:4 Ratio in holding, depending on acuity · Type of Equipment: GE Imaging · Documentation System: MacLab and Meditech · Call Requirements: Four ten-hour shifts per week, monthly call shift burden: goal = Typical Hiring Profile Must have : (includes certifications and special skills, ex: ACLS, BLS, NIH ) · RN, ACLS, BLS · RCIS or any procedural/cardiology-centered certification · Vascular IR procedural experience, Knowledge of Cath Lab/IR protocols and procedures · Neuro-interventional experience · High-level communication skills List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s): · Full scope of Interventional radiology procedures, including structural (TAVR, Mitra Clip), Carotid stenting, Peripheral arterial cases, Lumbar punctures Additional Preferences: (ex: previous travel experience preferred, easily adaptable to fast paced unit, can function well independently) · CVT, ARRT, RCIS · Dress Code : · Scrub Color – Surgical Scrubs, Unit will provide Awards/Recognition: Feel free to include items such as links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards, etc. · Level 1 Trauma Center · Number one HCA stroke center in the Company June 2022, July 2022 · Huddle calls daily, development of relationships with Director, staff and patients paramount · Gold seal of approval, well run department, excellent Director
