We are seeking an Interventional Radiologic Tech to:
• Work collaboratively with Vascular Interventional and Neuroendovascular physicians and nurses.
• Use multiple imaging modalities for diagnostic and interventional purposes (Fluoro, Ultrasound, CT, and MR).
• Image inpatients, outpatients, pediatrics, and intra-operative patients while using critical thinking skills. Assist in emergent cases such as strokes and traumas..
Minimum Requirements:
• Facility Requirement:
• Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (permanent address must be included in traveler's profile including resume, medefis portal, onboarding documents).
• Experience:
• Minimum two years clinical imaging experience required (interventional radiology experience required)
• Candidate must be comfortable and experienced with pediatric, neuro, and vascular interventional patient population.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and preparing trays for procedures.
• Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.
• Prior traveler experience highly preferred.
• Epic experience highly preferred.
• Licensure and Certification:
• Certification by appropriate body: ARRT (R) required, ARRT (VI) highly preferred
• Wisconsin Radiological License required
• BLS - issued by American Heart Association only
• Education:
• Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.
• References:
• Needs 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years).
• Floating
• Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the travelers assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
