- Special Requirements: MS/Tele experience required. 5 years experience required. Cerner required. LTAC and Community Hospital experience required. MEDICAL SURGICAL LEVEL OF CARE PATIENTS EITHER IN INPATIENT OR OBSERVATION STATUS. CHRONIC MEDICAL CONDITIONS SUCH AS COPD, DIABETES, CHF, CARE OF POST SURGICAL PATIENTS SUCH AS ORTHOPEDIC, SURGICAL WOUNDS, WOUND CARE, LEVEL III TRAUMA PATIENTS, MEDICAL CONDITIONS SUCH AS PNEUMONIA, COVID, PANCREATITIS, SICKLE CELL CRISIS, CHRONIC PAIN. Level 1 or 2 Trauma Level experience preferred.
- Unit Information: UNIT IS A FAST PACED, RAPID TURN OF ADMISSION DISCHAGE AND TRANSFER OF PATIENTS INTO AND OUT OF THE UNIT. UNIT IS A SISTER UNIT TO THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT WHICH STAFF ARE REQUIRED TO FLOAT INTO THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT AND PROVIDE CARE TO THE PATIENTS WHO ARE BOARDED/HOLDING IN THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT WAITING FOR AN INPATIENT BED OR A BED ON MEDICAL OBSERVATION
