Travel Mammography Tech - $690 per week in Syracuse, NY at Infojini Healthcare

The counties include but are not limited to Onondaga, Oswego, Jefferson, St. Lawrence, Herkimer, Oneida, Madison, Cayuga, Cortland& Seneca. Most days the tech will start and finish from our office at 5000W. Seneca Tpk, but there is an occasional overnight .expenses to be reimbursed by Upstate. There is one overnight assignment in November. We have a rental car that staff uses to travel to and from sites because the mammography van only has seating for the driver when the van is in motion. Staff start their day here and then drive to the site for the day, returning when the clinic is over. Days and hours to be determined must be flexible. More than 8 hours/day, but not more than 40 hours per pay week (could be four 10-hour days this is what most of the team does).Qualifications: AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, NYS license/registration or eligible, and ARRT inMammography, a minimum of one year of progressive technical experience plus current CPR certificationrequired. Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.Duties: Will be responsible for performing mammography and stereotactic breast procedures under the director'sorder of a radiologist. Will greet patients, prepare them for their exam, and explain the procedure to beperformed. Will position the patient appropriately for the radiographs and use proper exposure factorsto obtain high-quality radiographs. Additional responsibilities include: maintaining quality standards formammography as required by the 1999 ACR Mammography QA/QC Manual and Hologic SelenaDimensions QC Manual.
