**Job Title:** Mammography Technologist

**Experience:** 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist
**License:** Valid license as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH
**Certifications:** Post-primary certification in Mammography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), BLS preferred
**Must-Have:** Experience with relevant equipment, proficiency in English (speak, read, write)
**Job Description:**
- Perform mammographic procedures following established guidelines and protocols
- Operate radiologic and mammographic equipment efficiently and safely
- Ensure that high-quality diagnostic images are produced for interpretation by radiologists
- Maintain patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process
- Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care
- Uphold department standards for image quality and patient care
- Stay current with developments in the field of mammography and implement best practices
- Document all procedures and maintain accurate records.
