**Job Title:** Radiographer II
**Job Specialty:** Radiography
**Job Duration:** 14 weeks
**Shift:** Days, 5x8 Hr shifts
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40.00 per week
**Experience:** Preferred: One (1) year full-time experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional in the specialty required by the hiring department
**License:** ARRT Registered
**Certifications:** Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association
**Must-Have:**
- ARRT, ARDMS, and/or CCI credentials in the cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty required by the hiring department must be current upon hire or advancement
- English proficiency (speak, read, write)
**Job Description:**
- Perform advanced level professional work in exposing and processing radiographic images and fluoroscopy examinations
- Operate standard and portable radiology equipment for radiographic examinations and fluoroscopy studies, including intravenous pyelography, cystography, gastrointestinal series, and body section radiography
- Assist physicians and perform specialized imaging procedures
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems regarding equipment and/or film output
- Act as a resource and preceptor for other radiographers and/or students
- Participate in training programs to enhance radiology skills and become proficient in producing images of a patient’s body in computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, or special procedures
- Maintain records, inventory, and equipment for the area of primary responsibility
- Perform other duties as assigned
**Skills:**
- Knowledge of diagnostic radiography techniques
- Understanding of the operation and maintenance of radiographic equipment
- Ability to prioritize assignments and assess, treat, and care for patients of varying ages
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Proficient computer skills
**Education:**
- Associate degree or higher preferred
- Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular or radiologic technology specialty as defined by ARDMS, ARRT, and/or CCI.
