**Job Title:** Radiologic Technologist
**Job Specialty:** Mammography Technician
**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks
**Shift:** Day - 4x10, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Tuesday to Friday
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years
**License:** Certified through the State
**Certifications:**
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Certified Mammography Technologist - ARRT (M)
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
**Must-Have:**
- Active COVID Vaccine
**Job Description:**
- Provide initial digital and tomosynthesis CE units
- Possess 2 years of mammography and tomosynthesis CE units
- Submit prior mammography numbers for the last 2 years
- Maintain required certifications and licenses
- Work with a diverse patient population, including ER, OR, inpatient, and outpatient
- Use EMR system: Cerner
- Basic Radiologic technologists should have a Fluoroscopy permit for OR and routine work; CT and Mammography certification are advantageous
- Venipuncture experience and extensive OR experience are desirable
- Hospital provides scrubs
- Depending on experience, Mammography Technicians may receive tomosynthesis training
- Orientation is based on experience: 1 week for Ultrasound techs, 1 day for Rad techs without CT experience
- Typical equipment includes Siemens CT (64 & 128 slice) and Phillips ultrasound
- Participate in a radiology management team with a Coordinator, Manager, and Supervisor
- Adhere to flexible scheduling with typically 15 Radiology techs scheduled over 24 hours
- No call or weekend shifts required, and the first to float if needed
