- Job Title: Medical Lab Technician
- Compensation: $1,402.80 per week
- Job Duration: 13 weeks
- Shifts: 5x8 nights or 3x12 nights
- Key Responsibilities: Sample collection and preparation, Laboratory testing, Equipment Maintenance, Quality Control, Data Analysis and Reporting, Inventory Management, Safety and Compliance, Documentation
- Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field; completion of an accredited MLT program
- Certification: Certification from ASCP or AMT may be required or preferred
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy, Ability to operate complex laboratory equipment, Excellent organizational and communication skills, Knowledge of laboratory safety and infection control practices, Proficiency in relevant software for data entry and analysis
- Working Conditions:
- Environment: Laboratory setting, potential exposure to biohazards and chemicals
- Schedule: May require shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays depending on the facility
