**Job Title:** Grossing Technologist

**Shift:** Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
**Guaranteed Hours:** 80 hours per pay period
**Experience:** 1+ years of grossing experience required
**License:** Current NYS license as Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT), Medical Technologist (MT), or Histotechnologist (HTL)
**Certifications:** Bachelor’s degree in Science
**Must-Have:**
- Experience in gross description, dissection, and processing of tissue specimens
**Job Description:**
- Responsible for the accurate gross description, dissection, and processing of biopsies, as well as routine and moderate complexity tissue specimens according to established protocols.
- Work under the direct supervision of the Pathologist and/or Pathology Supervisor.
- Participate in limited technical activities within the Pathology department, including accessioning, staining, cover slipping, routine maintenance, and cytology specimen preparation.
