**Job Description:**
- The MRI Technologist provides healthcare services to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
- Performs MRI procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by or upon request of a licensed practitioner.
- Performs MRI exams and procedures as requested by medical staff.
- Assists Radiologists and other medical staff during exams and procedures.
- Manages proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures.
- Completes documentation of all information required for interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
- Retrieves and files exam jackets, written orders, and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting of MRI exams.
- Participates in the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of hospital quality indicators as described in the strategic plan.
- Candidates must live at least 90 miles from the facility to be considered for the assignment.
- Facility reserves the right to cancel three shifts per 13-week contract in the event of low census or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Holiday coverage required.
- Utilizes EPIC as the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
