**Job Title:** MRI Technician
**Job Specialty:** Radiology / Cardiology
**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks
**Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)
**Guaranteed Hours:** Not Specified
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years in a large hospital; Level 1 preferred, will accept Level 2 experience
Travel experience preferred.
**License:** ARRT, ODH Certification required
**Certifications:** BLS required through AHA
**Must-Have:**
- Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Radiologic Technology
- Experience with GE equipment
- Availability to work every other holiday
**Job Description:**
- Independently perform diagnostic radiographic procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media.
- Operate within their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in medication administration, operation of equipment, and venipuncture.
- Coordinate patient flow and activities in the Radiology Department.
- Exercise professional judgment in performing duties and maintain equipment in good working condition.
- Perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs.
- May have on-call responsibilities.
- Will be fitted for N95 before working on designated units unless PAPR is offered/needed.
- Must complete lab work and the EKG/Dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing the contract.
- Vaccination requirements: COVID-19 Vaccine not required, Flu Vaccine required unless medically/religiously exempt.
- Up to 24 hours of billable modules are to be completed during orientation and up to 8 hours annually
