**Job Title:** Technologist

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Varied Sat/Sun 7 a.m.-7 p.m
+ two 8-hour shifts, weekday or evening depending on coverage
**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of current MRI experience
**License:** Temporary NH MIRT license in effect; must possess an out-of-state imaging license or apply for the permanent NH MIRT license
**Certifications:** ARRT(MR), BLS (AHA)
**Must-Have:**
- Proficiency in using Siemens equipment (preferred)
- Associate's Degree minimum
- Previous travel experience (preferred)
- Compliance completed 7 days in advance of the start date
- Two separate supervisory references within the last 3 years of employment
**Job Description:**
- Perform MRI procedures under the clinical direction of a Radiologist and administrative direction of the Director of Imaging.
- Review patient medical records for history and pertinent information.
- Discuss requisition requirements with the physician.
- Explain procedures to patients in a clear and supportive manner.
- Select appropriate technique/protocol to obtain optimal scans.
- Review studies for overall quality assurance.
- Organize the daily work schedule and respond to emergencies promptly.
- Conduct daily calibration checks on equipment and report any issues to service.
- Provide instruction to medical and hospital staff on MRI safety practices.
