Must-Have: Graduate of AMA-approved School of Radiological Sciences or other accepted and approved equivalent
Job Description:
- Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, including complex and specialized MRI procedures.
- Operate state-of-the-art computerized MRI diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently.
- Assist Radiologists in invasive and biopsy procedures using MRI equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
- Ensure proper completion and storage of exam data on PACS for future reference.
- Coordinate and prioritize procedures to maintain high levels of patient care and continuity.
- Ensure all charges are accurately coded and entered into the billing system.
- Demonstrate competence with all age-specific groups to properly complete studies.
- Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to accommodate the unique needs of each patient served.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards as required by state and federal agencies and other regulatory entities.
- Protect patient confidentiality and only disclose necessary information pertinent to job duties.
- Possess basic computer knowledge and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate adherence to core values and excellent customer service skills.
- Participate in ongoing MR education, safety, protocol development, quality assurance, and technical advances aligned with clinical scanning.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
