**Job Title:** MRI Technologist - Night Shift
**Job Specialty:** Radiology / Cardiology
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Night 4x8-Hour (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified
**Experience:** Minimum 1 year
**License:** Active NC or Compact license required at the time of start
**Certifications:** BLS, ARRT
**Must-Have:**
- Skills in performing MRI procedures for abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, CINE
**Job Description:**
- Perform MRI scans during the night shift from Tuesday to Friday.
- Target Ratios must be met during each shift.
- Be part of a team that will be working through the holiday season, with the contract running until a hard stop in mid-March 2025.
- Be adaptable to special procedures involving required patient groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Familiarity with neonates, infants, and peds is preferred.
- Operate equipment such as GE and Siemens systems for medication, documentation, and communication.
- Wear royal blue scrubs during shifts.
- Participate in hospital orientation during the first week, available every day for scheduled classes.
- Be prepared to report to work during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters.
- Be comfortable floating within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby, based on skill sets and census needs.
- Complete all necessary modules prior to the start date; these take approximately 8-10 hours for acute roles and 4-5 hours for non-acute roles.
Please note that the position does not require an on-call, float, or weekend work
However, contract staff are expected to be part of Storm and Hurricane Teams
Flu vaccination is required, with exemptions available for medical or religious reasons
Be sure to provide manager or supervisor references from the past 12 months by the start date.
