**Job Title:** Nuclear Medicine Technologist
**Job Specialty:** Nuclear Medicine
**Job Duration:** 8 Months
**Shift:** Day 4x10-Hour (08:15 - 18:45), Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
**Guaranteed Hours:**
**Experience:** One year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
**License:** Must be currently licensed in Nuclear Medicine with the Board of Medical Imaging
**Certifications:**
- Registered in Nuclear Medicine with either the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA within 90 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire
**Must-Have:**
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
- Must pass a Basic Cardiac Monitoring class within 4 months of hire
- Capable of operating state-of-the-art Nuclear Medicine gamma cameras, probes, and computer systems, along with other supportive devices
- Epic Charting experience is required
**Job Description:**
- Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures in compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Availability for on-call/standby duties after hours
- Complete non-billable modules pre-start and annually as required, factoring into NBO based on specialty
- Potential for floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
- Former permanent employees may not submit for travel positions for six months post-employment termination date
