Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted
Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
Certifications Required: BLS, ARRT N or ARRT R
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: We have 4 SPECT locations and 1 Cardiac PET department; Cardiac Experience Required
Ratio / Census: This is a cardiac only department with an average case load for each site around 10 per day.
Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis
Scrub Color: Red
RTO: MAX 7 days
Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
Floating: Yes, throughout department
Call Requirements: Yes (Saturday, Sundays, and Holidays 7A-5P)
Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
Major Holidays are listed below:
New Year’s Eve and Day: Sunday, December 31 & Monday, January 1
Memorial Day: Monday, May 27
Independence Day: Thursday, July 4
Labor Day: Monday, September 2
Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 28 & Friday November 29
Christmas Eve and Day: Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25
Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
