As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in supporting the physicians and/or mid-level providers in the practice with clinical activities and direct patient care. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and committed to a Monday-Friday schedule, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Responsibilities:* Performs professional nursing care in accordance with NYS Nursing Practice Act* Carries out all assigned nursing procedures while maintaining a calm and profession demeanor during emergent situations* Provides patient education, as requested by the provider* Prepares patient record for visit, including but not limited to chart prep and nurse note documentation* Participates in scheduled team meetings to discuss clinical roles, processes, and patient concerns* Works well with members of the team to achieve patient-centered care and quality by implementing best practice standardsQualifications:* Graduation from accredited RN program* Current NYS licensure as a registered nurse* Basic knowledge of Cardiology diseases and treatment (preferred)* Knowledge of medical insurance carriers and how to obtain prior authorization (preferred)* Knowledge and ability to perform manual blood pressure checks (preferred)
