- NIH Stroke Certification - Reference UD for requirement
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam - Required for certain positions
- Color Blind Testing Online - Required for all candidates
Certification Details
- Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.

- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years - Unit accepts first time travelers
- PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics - CVOR
- REQUIRED SKILLS: ACLS, BCLS, Cardiac, Vascular, Thoracic with the ability to scrub are all hard requirements. Heart Transplant is highly preferred.
- UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis EPIC, SBAR
Job Details
- 2 years minimum experience in relevant field.
- Unit accepts first-time travelers.
- Adult to Geriatric patient care experience.

Job Requirements
- SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: RTO: MAX 7 days
- BLOCK or SELF SCHEDULING - not available
- WEEKENDS: Rotation
- CALL REQUIREMENTS: Yes/variable - Typically one weekday/call every week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks
- HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
- FLOATING: N/A
- SCRUBS: Provided
- COMPLIANCE: FULL compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
Schedule Information
- Manager will conduct interviews for final decision.
- Clinical screenings will occur on a case-by-case basis.
