A large hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced ER/Emergency Room RNs for a travel assignment.
The right candidate will have 2 years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC.
Also must have an active AZ license or compact.

2 years ER experience.
Hold an active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
Active AZ license or compact.
**MUST HAVE 1 YEAR OF TRAUMA LEVEL 1 EXPERIENCE; WILL SCREEN 8 MONTHS+**
**MUST HAVE CERNER EXPERIENCE, PLEASE NOTE ON RESUME UNDER WORK HISTORY TO CONFIRM HOW RECENT**

Unit Specific Information

Unit: ED / Trauma
# beds: Acute - 36 and Subacute - 54. Trauma bays - 6 (no travelers)
Ratios: 1:4 ratio
EMR: Cerner
Charge Nurse: 2 Charge RNs - will task or have light patient load.
Nurse Aides: 4-PCTs for sitters.
Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month, at unit discretion
Scrub Color: Navy
Tele: Phillips monitors, must be able to read strips.
Vents: Managed by RT
Hospitalist or Intensivists in house: Minimum of 2 MDs or as many as 8. Midlevels also utilized. Anesthesia
IV Team: Core RNs are US trained.
RT 24/7: Yes
Pharmacy 24/7: Yes, Pharmacist in ER 10hrs/day
Floating: Float within ER.
Floor specific orientation: 2-3 shifts on the floor.
Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Trauma, Burns and Peds transferred out. CP Center, Spinal Cord TBIN certification. 88,000 patients per year, 250-300 per day.
Additional Notes: 30-40 psych holds.
