EMERGENCY RN
Start Date: ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements).
Shift: 3x12 Variables (start times at 7am, 10am, and/or 7pm)
Ratios: 1:4
Years of Experience REQ: Prefer 2-3 years experience. Travel experience is preferred. Must demonstrate independent management of cardiac, critical care, complex care med/surg, psychiatric, and multiple trauma patients of all age groups. The ability to work in an intermittently fast-paced, high-volume, high-risk environment is required. IV Skills for all ages are required. Telemetry experience is preferred.
Epic REQ? 1 year of Epic experience is preferred.
First-Timers Accepted: Yes
Weekend REQ: TBD
Certs REQ: AK RN, ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC
Is on-call REQ? No
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No, ED does not usually float to other areas of the hospital. 100% staffed RN department.

FACILITY INFORMATION: PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center serves as a Regional Referral Center for SE Alaska. We serve Ketchikan and several surrounding Alaska islands that are isolated with limited healthcare services available. Patients present via fast boat and fixed wing aircraft from surrounding islands for emergent care. Ketchikan is the first port for Alaskan Cruises departing from Seattle.
