About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $1856 To $2062 **Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Emergency Department **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 19:00 - 07:30, every other weekend **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of current Emergency Department experience **License:** Registered Nurse **Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, TNCC required; PALS preferred **Must-Have:** - Candidates must have at least 2 years of current ED experience - Must pass EKG exam **Job Description:** - Provide high-quality nursing care in a 33-bed Emergency Department - Maintain patient ratios of 4:1, with occasional 5:1 during critical incidents - Work collaboratively in a team consisting of 1 charge nurse, 9 nurses, 3 PCTs (CNAs), and 2 sitters per shift - Utilize Philips monitors and EPIC EMR system - Conduct typical unit procedures, including chest tubes, central line/art line placement, sedation, rapid infusion, wound care, target temperature management, and EKG interpretation - Thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring dependability, punctuality, and effective communication with providers, coworkers, and leadership - Adhere to the dress code: navy scrubs, no fake nails, no long hair that interrupts duties, and non-hole Crocs - Opportunity to work with experienced staff and access to new technology and equipment
