About the Job
- BLS and ACLS certification is mandatory.
- CNOR certification is required.
Certification Details
- Could be 4x10 or 5x8.
- Call is on call for two days a week 5p (or from the end of their shift) to 7p, and one weekend every 3 weekends 7a-7p.
- Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, Operating Room and within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures, responsible for assisting surgeon in lead role until the conclusion of the operative procedure.
Job Details
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing required.
- Current licensure as an RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
- ACLS and CNOR certifications required.
- Completion of an RN First Assisting course that conforms to the Core Curriculum set forth by AORN required.
- Five (5) years diversified peri-operative nursing experience with both scrubbing and circulating proficiency required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or American Red Cross required.
Job Requirements
- N95 - within 365 days to start date.
- Brigham & Women's, Martha's Vineyard/Windemere, Salem & Newton-Wellesley can do onsite, if needed.
- If traveler has a current Fittest, upload the record to avoid having it redone.
- Wentworth-Douglass will accept within 14 days after start but cannot be done onsite.
- Must be fittest with a WDH-approved mask only.
- Must use specific WDH form located in the Document library.
- We strongly prefer travelers to be fit tested prior to start.
- If they start with it pending, it must be received with 14 days or they may be pulled from the schedule.
