About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** ICU **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years required **License:** Must have active license by start date **Certifications:** ACLS, Trauma/Neuro experience preferred **Must-Have:** Cerner experience required for first-time travelers **Job Description:** - Provide patient care for critical conditions such as sepsis, shock, multi-organ failure, respiratory failure, trauma, neuro/brain injuries, complicated surgeries, stroke, and encephalopathy. - Work with a target patient ratio of 1:1-3, based on acuity. - Flexibility to float to different units as needed, which may include CICU, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Emergency Room. - Weekend requirement of 3 weekends per 6-week schedule block. - Utilize specialized equipment including ceiling lifts, hoyer lifts, sit-to-stand lifts, and a wide range of safe-patient handling equipment, as well as Baxter Sigma Spectrum IV Pumps. - Documentation and communication through Omnicell, Cerner, and SBAR systems. - Wear navy blue scrubs in compliance with the unit's dress code. - Adhere to vaccination requirements for COVID-19, with no exemptions. - Smoking is prohibited within the facility. - Orientation is not provided on-site, and a fit test is required prior to starting. - Housing options may be available; for details, further inquiry is needed.
