About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse (ICU) **Job Duration:** 8 weeks **Shift:** Nights 7 PM - 7 AM **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum 3 years in critical care setting **License:** Valid State RN license required **Certifications:** BLS/ACLS certification required **Must-Have:** - Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in high-stress situations - Responsible, supportive team player - Competency in the application of restraints, implementation of seclusion, and care for a patient in restraint or seclusion **Job Description:** - Provide specialty care for critically ill patients and intermediate care unit patients. - Manage the nursing process from admission through transfer or discharge. - Skillfully perform cardiac monitoring, operate mechanical ventilation, manage arterial lines, and administer critical drips. - Utilize remote monitoring support for critical care patients, with intensivist presence during the day. - Participate in a shared governance model for decision-making. Additional Information: - Candidates with licensure issues will not be considered. - Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid. - Holiday coverage is required.
