- 13 Weeks, Every other Weekend/Holiday.

Job Details
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
- Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2-3 for adults, 1:2-4 for Peds.
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and Pediatrics, sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker placement, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, respiratory distress.
- RNs required to titrate drips: Yes.
- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Any cardiac drip, insulin, sedation.
- RNs required to read and interpret telemetry.
- Unable to guarantee block scheduling.
- RNs are required to float as needed.
Job Requirements
- Shifts: 0630-1830, 1830-0630.
- Weekend Requirements: Every other.
- Holiday Requirements: Rotating based on weekend group.
- Floating Requirements: Typically to PCU, possibly to MedSurg.
Schedule Information
- # of Beds: 33 beds, average daily census is 16.
- Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2-3 for adults, 1:2-4 for Peds.

- Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?
- RT Equipment: Nasal cannula to vent.
- Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? RNs required to read their own strips.
Unit Specific Information
- Health Support Tech M-F 0800-1630 available.
- Nasal cannula to vent handled by RNs.
- Self scheduling for core staff, travelers added in.
- Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
- RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
