Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks

Minimum weekend requirement is 4 weekend shifts per schedule.  Schedule is done in 4 week increments

Requirements:

• TN license
• 2 years’ experience
• Must have ICU experience
• BLS
• ACLS

Other Details:

• Documentation system:  Meditech
• Procedures performed on unit:  Insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, EVD insertions
• Floating policy:  Contract labor is first to float.  If the staffing need is in med/surg, contract labor is expected to float to med/surg and take the assignment

Number of Beds :  31Patient Ratios :  2:1, sometimes 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity/staffingUnit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) :  unit secretary staffed during dayshift.  Occasional nurse extern working as a techType of equipment:  Ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, EV 1000.Patient Experience requirements:  Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients/family members.
