Job Details
- Requested Skill Set: Active RN license, ACLS, BLS, ICU experience
- Advanced skills needed: Procedures performed on unit include insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, EVD insertions

Job Requirements
- Scheduling requirements: Minimum weekend requirement is 4 weekend shifts per schedule. Schedule is done in 4 week increments. Self-scheduling to an extent. Manager will move shifts to balance out schedule
- Floating policy: Contract labor is first to float. If staffing need is in med/surg, contract labor is expected to float to med/surg and take the assignment
Schedule Information
- Number of Beds: 16
- Patient Ratios: 2:1, sometimes 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity/staffing
- Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): Unit secretary staffed during dayshift. Occasional nurse extern working as a tech
- Type of equipment: Ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, EV 1000
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Patient Experience requirements: Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients/family members
