Job Requirements
- Minimum weekend requirement is 4 weekend shifts per schedule.
- Schedule is done in 4 week increments.
- Self-scheduling to an extent.
- Manager will move shifts to balance out schedule.
Schedule Information
- Number of Beds: 31
- Patient Ratios: 2:1, sometimes 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity/staffing
- Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): unit secretary staffed during dayshift. Occasional nurse extern working as a tech.
- Type of equipment: Ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, EV 1000.
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Floating policy: Contract labor is first to float. If the staffing need is in med/surg, contract labor is expected to float to med/surg and take the assignment.
