Shift: Days / 7a-7p, 12x3, 36 hrs per week
Length: 26 weeks
Holiday Expectations: Varies, based on need
Weekend rotation: Every other (Dayshift: Sat/Sun; Nightshift: Fri/Sat)
Requirements:
- ME License
- 2 years minimum in ICU experience
- Neuro and Trauma experience are an absolute must – EVD & ICP monitoring
- Ventilator management, critical care drips, drain management, stroke experience, hemodynamic lines (A-lines/CVP), cardiac rhythm recognition, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, strong assessment skills
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Charting System: Cerner
- First-time traveler accepted
- Floating: To the Cardiac Care Unit (ICU) – will take patients within scope, Cardiac Stepdown or Medical Stepdown, PICU if they have Peds experience
- Patient Ratios: 1:2 – based on acuity (may get 3rd patient as one is being discharged or moved to the floor)
