• Clear oral expression; oral comprehension includes listening to and understanding others; speaking clearly such that others understand; deductive and inductive reasoning skills; ability to write clearly; use of technology such as EMR, selective attention – able to concentrate for protracted periods; time sharing – able to shift back and forth successfully between two or more activities; manual dexterity – to manage IV tubing, syringes, and other equipment; information ordering skills – patterns of numbers, pictures, words and mathematical operations including medication calculation.
• Ability to work with diverse patient and staff populations with sensitivity to cultural and spiritual influences impacting patient care.
• Efficiently manage time with minimal supervision.?
Submission Requirements
1+ years of current CCU experience - RequiredPrior travel experience - PreferredPrior Cerner experience – Preferred

Oaklawn Hospital is a 78-bed state-of-the-art facility located in charming Marshall, Michigan. During the winter months, the hospital hosts a weekly indoor farmers market with goods from 20 different vendors from within an 80-mile radius. Marshall is home to one of the nation’s largest Historic Landmark Districts, including the world-famous “Honolulu House”. The quaint downtown offers specialty stores and antique shops designed for the selective shopper. On days off, travelers in Marshall can visit the American Museum of Magic in town, visit FireKeepers Casino just 15 minutes down the highway, or travel less than 90-minutes to the great cities of Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Lansing, or Ann Arbor! Critical Care Unit: 12 beds Nurse to patient ratio: 4:1 / 2:1 (Depending on acuity of the patients) EMR: Cerner
