- Unit does not accept first time travelers
- Does not accept candidates within 50 miles of facility
- Admit and care for labor patients
- Must be able to care for mother baby couplets
- Level 2 nursery experience required
- AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP

- Call required
- No float
- Every third weekend/4 weekend shifts per contract
- Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience in labor and delivery and postpartum care
- Minimum of 6 patients
- Attend a delivery as a baby nurse and provide resuscitation and stabilization to the infant after delivery if needed
- Triage 1-2 labor patients, assume labor patients with 1:1 acuity including labor patients with hypertension and insulin-dependent diabetics
